I cant make friends :(

Seriously, this is so fucking hard, I teach clients social skills and shit but I cant seem to make friends myself, whenever I try to apply my own principles they dont fit in my lifestyle and city, it's full of old people here I've tried the dog park, the beach, the pier, I looked up local classes on CL and there isnt much going on, I'm taking a cake decorating class in 2 weeks just for damn socialization

How do you guys go about meeting new people IRL? or do you just facebook and use the internet?

I tend not to socialize at work because I like to keep my work life and personal life separated, I did however ask a coworker to lunch last week, it was the day before payday so I offered to treat in case she was broke and she said let's go tomorrow that is payday but the next day I saw her like 6 times and she didnt say anything

It's located in the bottom of a random apartment building and they don't advertise or have a website or any signage directing you to the right door. It's just a totally unmarked wooden door, all word of mouth, and you go up, knock 3 times and then they ask you for the password, which you would've had to find out ahead of time. It changes daily. So fun.

And they don't serve vodka because it wouldn't have been around really there, and they make everything themselves down to the simple syrup they use in the drinks, since they don't use soda guns, etc.
