I cant make friends :(

Seriously, this is so fucking hard, I teach clients social skills and shit but I cant seem to make friends myself, whenever I try to apply my own principles they dont fit in my lifestyle and city, it's full of old people here I've tried the dog park, the beach, the pier, I looked up local classes on CL and there isnt much going on, I'm taking a cake decorating class in 2 weeks just for damn socialization

How do you guys go about meeting new people IRL? or do you just facebook and use the internet?

But seriously, WTF it's getting too hard, I need to find a hobby and take some lessons of something or join a group or club, this new area technology is ruining my social skills.

I know what you mean. I'm in the same situation. The friends I grew up with either moved or went there separate ways. It's hard to trust people and start friendships if you don't know much about the person. I'm curious about this topic as well.
