I cant do it!

I posted this in another section then realized i should do it here where people are posting. Ok well i have lots of pics from my dig jpeg camera. Easy as hell to load on computer with the software it came with. I cant even get one on my avatar profile or here. Says they are too big. When i highlight them they ALL say size is 2.10 MB or bigger. and dimensions are 2500 by 1944. I heard to shrink it but does that mean cut out some of it? Should you take pics way away then shrink it up to you? How? is there a photo deal thing i can download off the net that will help me shrink them. Whats crazy is we have lots of pics w' our camera and ALL are big. But my wife has pictures from a trip to Vegas with all kinds of buildings and crap with huge backgrounds and they will fit! She took em with a camera from work last year. Mayge less Pixels? Thing is even a plain pic of my arm in front of a white wall says too big. Our new slimline Motorola phone pics say big too but so far i cant get them to computer. We are going to call cingular today and see if we need software like the camera has. Id like to see once i load on computer if they would work. If i color print a pic on our printer then rescan onto the computer would that take some pixels out? Im about to give up.

Step 1. Go to Google.com
Step 2. Do a search for infranview (It's Free)
Step 3. Download Infranview and install it.

Once you have it install load the program open up a picture and on the top toolbar click

You can set sized by Pixels and Percentage..
Be sure to leave the "Keep Aspect Ratio" checked.
