I am so fucking nervous

Well I had an interview for a job yesterday and I am one of two finalists for the job. It is an awesome job.

Thing is, now they want a reference from someone who has supervised me here in this organization (it's an internal transfer). To say my boss and I aren't on good terms is like saying that Latrell Sprewell and PJ Carlesimo weren't on good terms.

The only thing I have going in my favor is that he has suggested to me that I should explore other options here. So he is motivated to get me out from under him. But his dislike of me could shine through, or he could sabotage me just to get back at me.

I am going to talk to him and see what he says. But my getting the job or not basically hinges on what he says.

We shall see.
