White people will never be exempted from a past filled with slavery, racial bigotry, segregation and inequality to those of color.

That's something you just can't live down, regardless of whatever reforms you impart later. White people brought slaves over to America against their will, you made your bed, now lay in it.

in response to the BS slavery excuse, i dont know anyone alive who used to be a slave. . i didnt do jack shit to enslave people, i didnt bring peopel over from africa, and if they feel they were brought here against their will, then they can go back and enjoy aids infested poor africa...
truth be told conditions in africa wernt much better when they were brought over, or even during the racism and segreation. (see steve biko south african civil rights issues)

the slavery excuse is way outdated, and although i could give a rats ass about BET, WB, and other black networks, or commedy routines that rip on white guys, hearing something that happened long ago enough to not have a direct effect on the current living generation of african americans DOES piss me off.
