A friend of mine just forwarded me an email entitled "7 reasons not to go to the gym" - it turned out to be a collection of jpegs, not of idiots doing 1/4 squats or folks doing curls in the power racks, but a number of very nice and well-posed female BBs.

Then it seems appropriate that you either define "feminism" or redefine who you are. The term "feminist" is de facto inconsistent with equality since it contains the pre-fix "fem" , if you are indeed an "equalist" then that is also where I stand. BTW , we are both from the most matriarchial society I know of (and thank God for that) as I was discussing with a female Italian firend of mine.

I'll admit you got me with the first point - muscle beats fat any day , I'd do the second girl in a heartbeat , I bet she'd screw my brains out all night long!

Havoc, no one is debating that a muscular woman has physical characteristics that society has generally deemed "masculine". But that doesn't mean that they are men. And no one is jamming anything down anyone's throat here. Circusgirl was merely expressing her frustration (one that is shared by a lot ladies who train and aspire to some degree of muscularity and physical strength.) at how people degrade and laugh at a muscular woman just because they don't find her sexually attractive.

A lot of people to forget that male or female these competitors BUST THEIR ASSES. All of these people made a consious decision to be that way for whatever reason. Whether WE personally find "that look" appealing or not is irrelevant to them, obviously. So we can sit back and say, "There is NO WAY I would tap that" all we want. Bottom line if you met someone that you did not find physically attractive at first but got to know who they were deep down, then your opinion would change.

I have met more than a few fashion photographers who NEVER EVER found a woman with ANY muscle attractive at all, but because they met me, they changed their minds. Not saying that I am "all that", because I AM NOT. BUT - They got to know me a bit and saw my happy personality and genuine sincerity which translated to their pics. Most of these men made the comment that they never saw a muscular woman with a pretty face until they met me. That STILL amazes me to this day. To this day, even in the icky line of work that I am involved in most men who do NOT find me particularly attractive will still tip me because of one thing - MY SMILE, because it is genuine and sincere.
