I just got my glasses today. I am farsighted. They work, but I still feel like a nerd. But then again I am seeing how I am a rocket scientist. At least I weigh 222 pounds.

I work at MDHelicopters across the street from Boeing in Mesa. I do the finite element modelilng and stress calcs for the MD900, 600 and 500 series aircraft. August sounds like you have a lot of time. Good luck. If I can help let me know.

I'm tellin ya man, the glasses thing will serve you better than you think. I've cultivated the over-grown college proffesor look for years now (worn glasses since I was 16 in other words). It'll grow on you after a while.
