I just got my glasses today. I am farsighted. They work, but I still feel like a nerd. But then again I am seeing how I am a rocket scientist. At least I weigh 222 pounds.
Nerds of the world unite. Yes, Ph.D's qualify. Yes, I am an aerospace engineer with two minors in math and physics and working off and on on my masters in physics.
I gotta wear them for reading and 'puter work. So, pretty much I wear them all day. It's either that or I need to buy one of those neck chains to hook the damn things onto so I can find 'em when I need 'em!
Oh my god the librarian look! That is such a turn on! They are hiding something cause they are so quiet and reserved. I'll bet ya they are freaks in the bedroom. Oh yeah, baby.
Is that your leg in the pic? Or from a magazine?
Come to Arizona and you can be white all over my rice any time.
I work at MDHelicopters across the street from Boeing in Mesa. I do the finite element modelilng and stress calcs for the MD900, 600 and 500 series aircraft. August sounds like you have a lot of time. Good luck. If I can help let me know.

LMAO on the Librarian...Love men and their thinking!!
Yes , that is one of my gams. I have references if you wish.
The rice idea sounds fun..but I'm married sweetie!
I'm tellin ya man, the glasses thing will serve you better than you think. I've cultivated the over-grown college proffesor look for years now (worn glasses since I was 16 in other words). It'll grow on you after a while.
I've noticed, the girls around here have all spoke up and told me how great they look. Add to that buffness, and just a bit of gray and I think I am there.
