I am not getting an answer to my GLUTAMINE question on the supplement board.

Damn it, where can I find high quality Glutamine or Glutamine Peptides at a reasonable price?

I´ve posted this before. TO the best of my knowledge there is absolutely no evidence that supplementing amino acids speeds recovery or does anything muscle growth related.

Gotta get big!

Really??

Stop eating protein and see how the workouts go......while you are at it stop eating all meat - especially red meat cuz it has that creatine stuff in it...milk to...and cheese...and nuts...

I agree. I think I get enough amino acids from my diet and in any case most forms of supplementation aren't used by the body.

Glutamine peptides is one of those things I really WANT to believe in. But I have tried it, at high doses, and didn't notice anything.

I said "supplementing." So quick to attack...

No - it's just that all protein is simply amino acids.....just expanding your idea...

Protein is composed entirely of amino acids...supplementing with BCAA's or a protein shake - there IS no difference - that's fact.

Do you drink a post-w/o shake??

supplement to me means more than what you get from food. I said there is no evidence for supplementing glutamine to enhance recovery speed.

Re reading my post I see the "muscle related" thing has caused the problem. Of course, there is evidence for ingestion of more protein for athletes.
