When i bought my first tv there was no menu,a door opened and there were controls for color, tint, contrast, and brightness. Pretty simple huh?
My next tv after that one died was a remote, there was an operating/hookup book that came with it,getting to the menu was simple enough, repairs were fairly simple.
Then came vcrs top load...weighed at least 75 lbs simple to record and operate.
today we HAVE plasmas,LCDS,LEDS all types of hook ups that brings me to my final purchase for christmas,a sony 1080P blu-ray high definition DVD player, ohh i was just expecting a player, because i wanted to watch movies in hi Definition, but theres more (can you say Sham wow!) it has hookups for your ipod,mp3 player, internet access and more-i already have all that stuff i just wanted a damn player to watch movies, the last straw was requires htmi cable (not included) after seeing the price i bought the 3 ft one at a redicously low price of 29.98.
maybe next christmas i can purchase a car with all that stuff but the main thing i want is autopilot!
