You know you secretly pine away for the day to come when you can legitimately call the New Order home.

tell me something, I heard that all (most) bars were closed in Atlanta on Sunday. Something to do with they must have over 55% of profits from food sales in order to remain open. (Old law on the GA books), so how come the New Order is allowed to open? They don't sell food, and if they did, no way can 55% of their profits come from it.

Some bars are holding out until they receive a letter demanding they demonstrate 51 percent food sales.

Blakes has remained open by rather ingeniously handing you a bag of pretzels when you buy a drink. They ring up $2.50 for the pretzels and a $1 for the drink or something like that. (They also serve a buffet.) I doubt they'll get away with it very long.

Not just from the beginning of this year. But you have to have a history of doing it. That is why that bar Chair Red (?) is allowed to stay open on Sunday. NOt because of they have a resturant, but because they just opened and do not have a itemized profit list from last year.

Yeah, but anyways, the entire city was sort of dead those days I was there. You would figure it would be much more lively and open, but nothing but bitter queens everywhere I went.
