two weeks off diet and training. First day back yesterday worked quads and calves. I can hardly walk a flight of stairs. Today biceps and chest I can barely lift my arms above me head now. :worried: Tomorrow is going to be fun.

i get that feeling after every squat session.. i just love it!!! welcome back :chomp: call me next time if you need a spotter for squats lol

stretch if you can qt, as often as you can. also it might help to get some bloodflow into those areas. light(bodyweight) squats, calf raises with a stretch at the bottom etc. as active of recovery as you can, dont just avoid the movements, it will only prolong the healing.

Thanks Nate I think walking down 3 flights of stairs then up two to do my laundry is helping. However my wimpering going up and down is some what embarassing. :o

whimpering works if you can pull it off.

im sure it does..lol theyll feel much better once you work them again..so dont be afraid to do quads even if you are sore...
I did them Monday I was thinking of hitting them again on Firday or Saturday.

Sorry babe but I don't like to hear complaining about soreness even from you. Cherish the pain, love it, and nurture it. Then next time you take a break it won't seem quite as bad.

Keep stretching, keep your fluid intake high, and grin and bear the inevitable.

Cheers,
