The only two people I care about on The Food Network are Alton Brown and Anthony Bourdain, but Jamie Oliver is pretty cool...although that heavy Cockney accent and a lisp to boot makes him almost impossible to understand.

Although I think Rachel Ray is cute, I find her the second most obnoxious person on that channel...only second to Bobby Flay.

Emeril annoys the piss out of me, too. But this is mainly because I am an amateur Cajun/Italian chef...and I know how much better his mentor is as a cook.

I can't believe you guys know who he is! He's getting around a bit, and for a chef that is quite something. He'll be going down in world history soon as 'the school dinner savior'. Beats Gordon 'titanium face' Ramsey anyday.

Of course we know. The first dinner I made for my ex was a roasted chicken w/ proscuitto & herb butter rubbed in between the skin and the meat. I got that from the food network site. Its one of his receipes.

I find Rachel Ray annoying also.....I can't stand how she always says EVOO then explains it every damn time....ugh!!

But, yes, Giada is the shit - her recipes are decent & easy to follow.....I like some of Ina Garten's recipes too....
