Hush Communications would like to apologize to all email users for the
difficulty you are experiencing accessing your HushMail account. You are
encountering these problems as we continue to upgrade to Version 2.0.
Hush realizes that many users have been unable to access mail and address
books. We would like to emphasize that this data is safely stored and will
be returned as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot return the data
until the upgrade is complete. Again we apologize for any inconvenience or
distress caused.
Hush understands this has been very disruptive for many of our users, but we
ask for your patience as the benefits of the upgrade will far outweigh the
temporary problems you are experiencing now. Regrettably, the delay could
not be avoided but we promise our users a faster, cleaner, improved service
once the upgrade is complete. We are sure that you will be delighted with
the new features, improved interface, faster service and more robust
security.
The upgrade was necessary so that we can offer the above immediate benefits
and future improvements over the coming year. Future improvements include
the ability for HushMail users to communicate with PGP users, the arrival of
a desktop solution that can be used with most email clients allowing users
to utilize full strength encryption without leaving their familiar email
environment.
We believe the service can only improve from here, and we ask that you bear
with us during the current delay. I hope this notice has answered your
concerns and I assure you that delays and the return of data and address
books are receiving our full attention. Hush will resume a normal service
as soon as possible. Although the upgrade has been difficult, I promise you
it will be worth the wait. We sincerely appreciate our users and we look
forward to serving you better in the future.
Thank you for your patience and support.
