I get fricken goose bumps when I listen that song. Guess it makes one think about the misakes ones made in their life.

Visually - NIN has the better videos and visuals (as in Perfect Drug). The techno beat and bass lines add another dimension to the song.

BUT - the Cash version of this song, in particular, was done at the right time. That combined with the minimalist/life's journey edge really pushes this version to the forefront.

Almost always go with the original - but in a rare case go with the remake. Especially when done with class as Cash did.
