Hungry for change!

Assertive Guy

Just a begginer...

I'm currently out of work due to illness, but able to lift and Im lifting purely to get stronger. My fustration is time. I tend to workout when I feel recovered (if that be 2 days, or 6). What I want to do is speed up the time it takes to recover to the max, but not take any AS. Currently Im using Ephedrine HCL 50mg * 3 ed, and the caffiene with it. I rest most of the day (just up for a walk, chores and some removals work for my dad). I sleep about 11 hours at the moment, and eat well supplementing 2 * ed with multi'vits, and super-potent EFA's.

What can I do to *jack* my recovery time???

P.s. I drink a tonne of water each day

You may just not have a great routine.
You should be able to work one lift at least once a week. Meaning, bench on mondays for example, squats on wednesdays, deadlift fridays. and maybe an auxillary workout somewhere in there too.

If you need a good, easy to follow routine, let me know, or you can jump on the 5x5 bandwagon that is so popular these days.

As far as soreness, take a tylenol, massage the effected muscle, get plenty of protein and take a multivitamin.
also, i find that glutamine DRASTICALLY increases my recovery time. I take it in powdered form- 2 tablespoons on the days i workout (one in the morning, one at night) and only 1 tablespoon on days i don't. I train a woman who swears its the only thing thats helped her get over her soreness- she's an older lady who can't tolerate much pain.
