Huck, Mods & Vets!!- Arimidex & Nolvadex- And Their Effects On The Lipid Levels???

l-dex messed up my lipid profile pretty bad. I was on it throughout most of my cycle though. Next time, ill stick to using it post cycle only.

How do you know it was the ldex? Had you run the same cycle(ie same AAS and doses) in the past and not used ldex but had blood work done to compare? Thats really the only way to know if it was actually ldex or not.

Although it's only speculative, whenever someone finally does have blood work done. Either, they have used or is still on Arimidex/Liquidex. Their Lipid Levels are out of whack. Definitely NOT a good thing.

Thats weak proof at best since AAS are also known to cause lipid problems for many. The only way to determine how AAS and/or anastrozole(or any anti-e for that matter) affects you is to have blood work done on AAS alone and AAS with anastrozole. You cant simply say, "im on cycle and using ldex and have fucked up lipids so its the ldex", thats ludicris.

"slight increases in total cholesterol have been observed in clinical trials with Arimidex*."

This statement really doesn't say much about arimidex fucking up lipid levels in males. However....there is a direct and proven coorelation between low estrogen levels and low HDL. Be it speculative or not, I just had some blood work done after a test, deca, winstrol cycle (where I was running arimidex at 1mg ed) and my Total HDL (good cholesterol) was 2. The figures were probably not too accurate because I was about two weeks off cycle...so I still had stuff in my system...According to my MD, healthy males should have at least a count of 60-80. He said I was a heart attack waiting to happen...the point where it becomes low is at around 35 or below. He actually stated that he has never seen an HDL count as low as mine is his entire career. He attributed the low levels to my use of arimidex... He also said that the winstrol and deca definately had something to do with it. So it wasn't just the arimidex, but it does do some damage.

Thanks for sharing. My point wasnt that ana(or any anti-e) is harmless but simply to point out that it foolish to blame the whole problem on ana when AAS has also been proven to affect lipds. To many people simply dont want to beleive that AAS can have a detrimental effect. This is also another good reason to keep cycle of a reasonable length and to find out how you react to certian AAS by having blood work done.

Good point! One must not deny the obvious!

Too me water is only a "no no" if your BP is out of control. If your truly bulking you need that water for more explosive power and that in turn, turns into more MUSCLE! Which is what you want, I assume?.............galaxy
