The miracle on ice - 1980!

I remember watching the gold medal game when I was 8. Brooks was from my home state of Minnesota, and most of those players were Minnesotans as well. Needless to say, this was huge in MN, as well as the rest of the country.

HBO has a special called, I believe, "The Miracle on Ice." If you get a chance to watch it you should as it really is a remarkable story.
