I've been thinking about HRT myself, so I have lots of questions if you don't mind.
How were your T levels before you started?
Did you go to your GP or a HRT specialist?
How much T are you going to be taking?
Did the guy suggest Androgel instead of injectable?
How does your insurance cover this? What will be your out of pocket cost?
How were your T levels before you started?
all i want to say for now is they were LOW really LOW
Did you go to your GP or a HRT specialist?
Specialist
How much T are you going to be taking?
still working on it. for now im gonna start at 250mg or so and work my way down until i still feel good.
Did the guy suggest Androgel instead of injectable?
nope in my line of work androgel is not a good idea.
How does your insurance cover this?
insurance covers some but not all of my costs..
What will be your out of pocket cost?
cant discuss prices sorry.
ill say this so far it is great and well worth it.. I have a lot of tweaking to do regarding dosages, anti estrogen usage, etc etc
but for me it was basically necessary to keep up the lifestyle i want to live. I train young up and coming pros, im up doing road work at 6am, lift at 7am, work a real job, then train at the 'dojo' for 4-5hrs a night, then have to go home and make the wife happy
most docs just said slow down, you are older, rest more, etc etc.. thats like saying hey shoot yourself in the leg, leave a boatload of money on the table, let your business partners fail, etc
not gonna happen..
