I'm eating between 1700 and 2000 cal's

230 g protein/ 57 g carbs/ 26 g fat

Carbs are from the oatmeal I eat in the morning and the fat is from olive oil and flax seed oil.

Also, drinking like 130 ounces of water.

Weighed myself this morning though and I was 138 - I'm normally 143...
 
need more calories

whenever you post a diet put down your goals as well as your wieght... you are coming in way under 1700-2000 calories.

protein (4 cals per gram) 920 67%
carbs (4 cals per gram) 228 16%
fat (9 cals per gram) 234 17%
total 1382

I am guessing you want to bulk up because you are shooting for more calories than maintenance(you are falling short). If you are comfortable with the ratios keep them and just add food.... Also on training day add a post workout shake that will be equal in calories to the amount of calories you think you are burning during that workout... You should consider some High GI carbs after your workout to take advantage of your carb depleted muscles rebound affect...

So, what's the problem?

I don't see why your are eating so little carbs, while you eat SO LITTLE fat. If you eat less carbs, then add the fat. At least have 200g protein/60carbs/70g fat...something in that fashion.

Your weight was down? That does not mean anything, you might have lost water or muscle glycogen.

I've been essentially doing the diet you suggested in a previous post. Hi Protein, Low Carb diet....for cutting.

Am I to thin - do I need to bulk.

I tip my hats to you guys!

I would suggest for you to "bulk up" a little. Eat for a while, meaning clean healthy bulking up. Read my Bulking up 1 and 2, you might enjoy what you see (it's a sticky on top of the page).

Your weight is a little low, try going for about 150-160 then coming down in bodyfat. Incorporate high volume HIT training and you'll put on that quality muscle.
