How would you invest one million bucks today?

if i had my hands on it i would invest it in myself. u could put it something low risk that returns a small but decent rate, even a CD and could live off the interest.

5% ---> $50,000 interest. Less than what I make now but shit I wouldn't have to work or I could work at a gym part time or some other shit.

sat back and realized if i had a million bucks to invest..... bammmmm right into the bank and i would either live off the interest and enjoy an extra 20-30k a year or i would save it so i could retire 10 years earlier.... i guess that would be the smartest thing to do who the hell wants to work till they die...........

If you want to make money, and still be passive and not make much effort. Become a producer.

Invest in a tv reality show. Cheap to make, and profits off the roof. I know some guys who've flipped millions easily.

Actually,

I would start new pink sheet trading shells at roughly $25k to $35k start up cost and then resell them at like $150,000 each. Boring but perfect for someone in that range of funds.

With today's bear market, I think I'd stick it in a passbook savings account at the bank, at least then it would make 3%, and wait it out 'til there's a bull market again. That or gov't bonds.

I'd buy three 200k houses (I live in an area where you can get a decent 3 bedroom house for 200k) and rent them out. The other 400k I'd use to buy stocks that have been unduly battered down recently.

ideas plz.

depends, do you want it to be spent by the time you are dead?? or do you want 10-20 years of good living??

how old you are plays a big part and what part of the country you are in..

if you can't live off of 10% interest (remember you will owe taxes on this income), it's actually pretty easy to do..

Where can you get 10% interest passively on $1m per year?
