How would one sell items on ebay?

2dk0bae.jpg

Once you get the hang of it, yeah it's easy. The better your description and the more pics you use, the more bids you'll get and the item will sell for more. I used to sell stuff on there a lot, but haven't sold anything on there for a while.

It's rough going for newbs because with a zero feedback rating nobody is going to trust you. You're better off picking up some cheap items, shit you can use around the house or something, getting a feedback rating first then list your items for sale. I have 1,000+ feedback 100% positive and when I list shit I wont even let zero feedback users bid. Reason is 80% of them don't pay and aren't worth dealing with, and most view sellers with zero feedback the same.

Another option is to just get someone you know with a e-bay account to list the items for you.

what do you sell bro?
weird death metal shit?

my husband buys and sells on ebay.
take GOOD pics, and write good descriptions. be very positive in your descriptions too - this is something i'm aware of in copywriting, which i do a lot. The more you can assure the reader that it's authentic, or 'like new' or whatever the positive aspect of it is, the better.

what about using those "isold it" drop-off stores? I'm sure they take a %, but seems like it might be worth it since I've never sold on ebay before and am trying to get rid of electronics.

i had this idea years before they came out, unfortunately i didn't have the capital to start them up plus i was still in school

imagine the look on my face when i read about them in entrepreneur magazine lloolfuckme

it's not hard to sell on ebay, do a 7 day auction and have it end 8:30 PM EST on a sunday (most people are online and home sunday nights)

take mega pics

ebay has "bin veddy veddy goot ta meh" over the years. i have taken worn out parts fron project cars/trucks and listed them on ebay and sold them for darn near as much as i paid for the parts i replaced them with!

kb if someone pays you via paypal make sure you ship the thing with delivery confirmation

if you don't they can easily report the item as non-received and paypal will refund their money if you can't provide a tracking number

lol did you use to snag those as a kid too?

And no, they never made it to e-bay.

nah i always thought it was stupid and felt bad for the car owners who got jacked.
but i remember some tool made a necklace outta a piece of chain and a caddy ornament lol

one time me and a friend went out in bmore and were on our way to crash at another friend's house. dude snapped a couple hood ornaments on the walk back (what else can you do if you dont hook up?), and showed them off when he got back. Turns out one of the ornaments was from the host's girlfriend's benz lololool

I was straight up gangsta!

Never got very many, decided it was a bad idea when my friend and I got chased down the block one time going after the old school caddy one (before the little wings).

I never heard of this until I moved to Ohio in the 6th grade. I think I still have a gold porsche emblem. Good times

lol i remember you're boy crush in ohio was some douche skater named blair or some shit

that's what i used to do (that was my business)

wasn't really a store. just my house lol

this was before they even really existed

If you are capable of signing up on this website, and posting in these forums, then you have enough computer savvy to sell crap on ebay. It's easy.

Like the others have said, write a quality description, and a very attractive title, and you will sell.

-Take a pictures, with a post-it-note showing your ebay username and the product.

- Your Title needs to be catchy, it needs to stand out from the rest!

- I've found great success with FREE SHIPPING in my title, then in the description state that free shipping is only for "Buy it Now" purchases. - Set the buy it now price higher than the expected selling price. This will drive up your auction, but don't set the buy it now price too low that it is met.

- Also make sure your auction ends during peak internet times.
