how to?

I want to get real lean and defined by christmas.....all i need to do is lose maybe 5-10 lbs of fat...mostly in my mid section and such.....what would be the best method of cardio to do this without losing muscle and maximizing fat loss....im going to combine whatver i do with a great diet so.......help?
 
Depends...I'd say running, but to minimize muscle loss just make sure to get a good 25g of both protein and carbs before a run. Do like 15 miles a week and go from there...running always worked for me, with the right amount of carbs and protein, to tone my muscles and such while I'm builing them with my workouts.
