how to prevent weight-gain on ORTHO... Xenadrine?

My girlfriend has decided to start Ortho and she wants to prevent weight-gain as much as possible. She has taken Xenadrine, and without any type of diet (other then junk food) and without any type of physical exercise (other than sleeping and eating), lost a GOOD 10-15 lbs. in a few months. She is going to start Ortho at the end of her period in a few days, and she wants to prevent fat-gain as much as possible... and I wanted some suggestions on how she should go about doing this.

I must say, she is 100% against exercise, 100% against diet, and 100% for junkfood and sleep. Haha... seriously though shes not the exercise or diet type and I am thinking that I can maybe FORCE her to do 30 minutes of the treadmill each morning on an empty stomach after taking Xenadrine. She owns a treadmill, which shell have to dust off before using. HELP! From everything I have read the average weight-gain is around 10 lbs.

Hmm, this is a tough spot. Based only upon your description, it sounds as if she doesn't really care enough about her level of fitness. At least not enough to be inspired to workout anyway. This is somewhat like the "Pop-a-pill instead of a workout," mentality. I'm glad that you care for her enough to be concerned, but don't know how you can accomplish much without desire on her part.

I really think Xenadrine (or any supplement) is a mistake until the basics are covered. Diet, exercise, and dedication. But then again, I'm a bigotted male.

Considering the health risks associated with BC, maybe she should look at diet and excercise a little mroe carefully. It's one thing to want to counter-act weight gain, but increasing stength, bone density and Cardio-vascular capacity have much longer and greater benefits.
I don't have a lot of patience of people who don't take care of themselves and shut their minds.
Good luck--I hope she can keep up with you.

Yeah definitely I hear what all of you are saying I dont get it at all... shes just against working out and against diet hahaa it cracks me up! Shes my girl :loveyou: but somehow she realy doesnt like eating good or exercising etc. I dont know though.. shes usually really good if she puts her mind to something.. like junkfood. Haha jk. Alright any other replies?

maybe you need to introduce her to a healthier lifestyle, do things with her that don't seem like exercise... go for hikes/walks, rollerblade, recreational sports, somethings that's fun enough to make you forget that you are doing something good for your body... do it gradually and maybe she'll begin to like the way being healthy feels... take advantage of the summer weather and go swimming or something... anything to keep her moving... the gym isn't for everyone, and its not the only way to keep fit... (best way though)...

If she goes on Ortho than she really can't do anything to hide from the weight gain from the pill. It's going to happen regardless of what she takes.

I just got off if it(3mths) and I'm still holding onto the weight gain regardless of what I do, how hard I train or watch what I eat. It's a process the body goes through.
