I haven't been checkong anything such as email notification when someone replies but this envelope always pops up instaed of the folder? anyone know how to get rid of this annoying envelope? thanks

The envelope is there for every post and its an indication of weather a thread has a new message since you were last here. Its anice board feature and not something you can turn off.

If you are getting e-mail notifications and want to stop those, thats in your own personal profile.
