how to fill a keg?

can anyone tell me how to fill a keg...not havin it a boston now so im gonna fill it so i can use it for medleys.

hey man...i rigged up a nice little thing

I dont know if anyone has the video of me filling it up that i made. if anyone does please post it

i basically jammed a screwdriver inside to push the ball down, hit it with a hammer like twice to get it down real good. put the hose on so a small stream of water was comming out. laid it ontop of the keg to fill. and went inside for about 1.5-2 hours came back out and it was done

I wedged the head of a pic axe into the part that the bearing is at,then pounded on that with a sledge hammer.If you want water in it,I would do what tec said.I had to put a piece of short threaded pipe,with a screw on cover over mine so that it wouldnt leak.This is actually helpfull because I can adjust the weight quickly

i will have to rig somethin like this bc after i filled it and pulled the screwdriver out the bearing would not pop back up..its stuck down and wont seal now...dammit

Dang I've never tried to FILL a keg before, just empty one...
