How the hell do I get rid of this guy?

Need some serious advice here. I seem to have this problem with a friend. I have known this guy for about 15 years. We were best friends for several years but as with anything in life time moves on. Now the the fucker still calls everyday. We have nothing in common at all except stuff that happened 10 years ago when we were kids. I like him as a person but its what he does I don't like. He is off into all kinds of illegal shit that I'd rather not be part of. Lives going in separate directions etc..... Just one of those things from the past that should stay in the past. I have tried blowing him off not returning phone calls, and the like, but still he doesn't get it. WTF? He is 24 and still acts 14. How do I get this monkey off my back????? Suggestions?
