How the F do you use a BF measuring thing?

I got my digital BF measuring tool from dpnutrition on Fri. It tells you pinch here , there, and there, but not clear on how much to pinch, how much do you squish the skin (little or alot or does it matter), etc..... plus it uses these technical terms for where to pinch, so I am not even sure I am at the right spots

Is there anywhere online that shows you step by step?

I tried measuring and it gave me a mid 30's reading! I know I got some fat to cut, but I don't have that much fat!
