How sterile are homebrewed injectables?

Compared to human-grade roids?
Compared to well-made mexican roids? (tornel, brovel intervet)
 
And a dogs mouth is suposably cleaner then a humans. What it really comes down to is will you get infection with your injection. I dont care if its brewed in a pile of shit as long as it is what its supposed to be and is sterile when it enters my body.
 
It's reckoned that the typical kitchen chopping board is more bacteria-infested than the typical toilet seat. There are always some exceptions to break a rule, though.

I think that so long as you have a sensible choice of ingredients then your main concern is particulate contamination. Proper filtering and good procedure should minimize that risk.
 
clean everything in the room with lysol or bleach, wear gloves and pay attention to what you're doing and there really shouldnt be a problem.

on mythbusters they compared a dogs mouth to human mouth. had the dog, and human both lick an agar plate. then they incubated it, and the one that the dog licked came out will a lot less bacteria then the human plate.

so i guess its true

There are not levels if sterility, its either sterile ( i.e. no germs or bacteria ) or its unsterile.

Injecting anything unsterile is a gamble and will eventually catch up with you.

I guess that dogs secrete some kind of anti-viral enzyme in there mouths that kill off germs. Thats why its supposed to be good that they lick a human wound to help sterilize it! I still prefer alcohol and Hydrogen peroxide. This question imo is no better asking whos eggs are less likely to get you sick ones cooked by a chef or ones you cook yourself?
 
Btw, sterile does not have to mean no bacteria or viruses present... just no VIABLE ones present. Usually the BA and heat will kill any pathogen you might happen to get in your gear, and the filter is there simply to catch small particulate matter. Long as you heat and use BA, your final product should be sterile. It may have millions of dead viruses/bacteria in it, but it's sterile. I've made 1000's of cc's of gear and neither I nor any of my friends who have used it have ever had a problem.
 
I clean the entire work area with Bleach - I use boiling water then alcohol to clean the beaker that I use. I then use 2% BA in the gear - heat the mixture to 250 degrees before I remove and push it thru a .45 whatman. Afterward in the vial I bake it at 250 degrees 15 minutes, then cool, repeat 2 more times with a 25g pin in the stopper.

exactly..................and good point on the whatman, it doesn't filter bacteria, only large particles.
