If you are being safe and intelligent about it the protocol is if you run a 4 week cycle, then run your 4 week PCT = 8 weeks total, then take 8 weeks off (time on including PCT = time off), then that would be a total of 4 months...so 2-3 cycles a year.

Time off = Time on + 2 weeks
cycle (4 weeks) + pct (4 weeks) + 2 weeks = time off

Time on includes pct (as said above). So i make that a cycle every 18 weeks

This ^^ I would only run beast 2 times a year personally

^this. also imo beast works just as good in 3 week runs. then you have a 4 week pct thats longer than your actual cycle. less suppression, and two weeks shorter time between cycles.

you can figure in a year you could probably get 3 runs a year but i wouldn't exceed 2 in a year... it can be really taxing on your liver as well as your bp... obviously supports will help but that still doesn't prevent everything... 1-2 in a year is plenty...

The general concensus is like these guys have said. Time on cycle plus PCT equals time off, however the real correct answer comes down to blood work and when things like HDL/LDL, FSH, liver enzymes and of course total test free test, and estrogen should be normalized. Harsher cycles may take more time than normal to recover while milder cycles may take less time

Yeah I agree with Rick. Unfortunately, nobody ever does any bloodwork.

Time on + PCT = Time Off before next cycle

I have violated that rule in the past (only 8 weeks in between cycles)....I honestly say a minimum of 8 weeks before going back on. But I'm also an advanced PH user and do NOT recommend this to the newbie.
