How pathetic is this?

Our puppy has a massive reaction to his 11 week vaccinations today. He wound up in full blown shock with 2 IVs for over an hour. I was at the vet for 3+ hours with the poor little guy. They had to leave one IV port in his leg overnight just in case he started reacting again and needed to go to the emergency bet. He's SO pathetic looking right now. He's hating the collar. Thankfully he gets rid of the IV tomorrow morning.

On a happy note he's put on a pound and is up to 3.7 pounds!

I was laughing SO hard though when I put the collar on him. He was really pissed off for about a half hour.

Awwwh. Rub his belly for me. I can remember staying up all night when my Dexter was a puppy and really sick. He was only 7 weeks old and had a really bad cough it broke my heart everytime he coughed. Hope he gets better quick!

The ferrets and the dog love each other. They chase each other around all the time. It's not just the dog chasing them either....they give him hell.

The little ferret is going to get put down soon. She's been blind for a while (she's ancient) and that's not been a problem but now she has adrenal tumors and I can't justify spending $600+ on that and putting such a fragile animal through that much trauma.

I'm running on 3 hours of sleep this morning. We caved and let him sleep in our bed last night because he was uncomfy but every 5 minutes we'd get smacked in the face with the collar. lol I think I'll go to bed about 6 tonight.
