How often should you change/switch workout?

until it stops working, you lower weights, try again to push forward, and stall at the same point...which should take more than 12 weeks unless you've an advanced lifter
 
If you continue to make up crappy iso programs designed from magazines..you'll probably change it every few weeks. If you followed a decent strength based program, you can run it indefinetly. I have yet to change the one my coach gave me months later, yet I'm still adding weight to my max snatch & clean..therefore it is still working...


Can you please stop making polls about everything?
 
I'm probably always going to do the main lifts in my programs, but the accessory work I might switch up every once in a while. I'm on week 9 of my program and it's still going strong. Although I gradually implement new things in it so when I'm intermediate level or so I will be doing an intermediate level workout, then so on and so forth.
