GREAT book, seriously A+++ sounds morbid, but its actually the opposite if you ask me. Both my parents read it after me and loved it. If you have lost any loved ones, grandparents, etc. This really puts it in perspective, lets you know exactly what was going on physiologically. The author is what makes this book superb. Very talented. Without him the topic would be dry as unbuttered toast.
The god is not great is a good book though, also, have you read "The God Delusion" similar, but more science based, this one isn't quite so much based in science, more based in "what the fuck are people thinking?
The other books I read "How we know what isn't so" and "why people believe weird things" aren't all about religion, but give insight into how those beliefs come to be and are maintained.
always now.....but only in the last year, year and a half. usually on specific subjects though. Stuff that applies to my life and i can use.
i read a ton of motivational/self help/spiritual stuff. i hate that term self help, because it sounds somewhat derogatory and can emcompass so many things.
I also read a ton of marketing books, as well as sales.
psychology is the other category i follow pretty closely.
