How often do you get hugged?

I rarely get hugs...I view it as an invasion of space

LOL my husband's family is white and they are affecitonate as hell...my FIL hugs me all the time, and kisses me...ON THE LIPS!!!!!!!! So strange....I'm always like, omg. He's so sweet but I'm not used to it at all..I get stiff as a board and so uncomfortable

Well, that's where the hugging part comes in. You hug instead of saying I love you and work up to the words. Baby steps.

I'm not big on the kiss on the lip thing, either, though, much prefer the cheek.

I'm all about the love, I love everyone! It just seems so to say it all the time, I've learned to move my face so he gets my cheek now lol

I say it to my husband every time we talk on the phone, when he leaves for work, he says it back, too ... I only said it to my mom when I was leaving or going out, something like that.

What about your husband? I was always up for a hug or I'd sit on his lap or cuddle while we watched a movie/tv. I'm pretty affecionate w/ Abby....
