How often do you cheat?

I am interested in how often we cheat.

I have always scheduled a cheat meal every 7 days, if I am brutally honest with myself I have been more sucessful with my diet when I have allowed myself to cheat and then gotten back to the grind.

I think there is probably alot to due with body type and MR etc. but do you notice the same thing or due you have to be strict all the time?

I cheat whenever the wife's not looking :p .
Seriously, probably about 4-5 meals a week, not usually on the same day.

I have a cheat day, but more often I cheat on one meal on the weekend, except this weekend, and man my tummy is hurting! :chomp:

One 1000 cal supermeal every 2 weeks. Otherwise what's the point in dieting and all that boring cardio if I'm going to piss it away by not having the discipline to stick to my guns when I'm tempted? Cheating on a regualr basis might work if you're Dave Tate but for the average guy trying to get lean I dont think its a smart idea at all.

I have not built enoughyet to justify reward in my mind, so when I do it I punish.

Last night I got a little carried away so this morning we got an extra 4 mile run to remind myself how important it is.

I guess what I mean is I don't consider my whole plans ruined anymore if I slip up. I feel I can get back to work and still be successfull. Knowing that an occasional slip up is not the end of it all helps me to succeed with my goals instead of blowing them off.

If I knew how to eat like a normal person I might enjoy it more -- I generally either have no appetite for anything and just have to eat what's on the schedule or I want everything in sight. For the "everything in sight" times, I'm better off sticking to just the diet and my scheduled cheats. If I'm in competition prep, no questions. You either do it or you don't.

During the year when Im training I have pancakes for breakfast on sundays.
When I am in precontest mode I NEVER cheat or miss meals...ever

this past month ive taken compltely off everything so ive just been making a pig out of myself

I don't compete, I can't imagine that you could get away with it if you were prepping for a show.

I am just talking about in my daily diet and training plan.

^^^ I agree with Sassy.. Seeing results and being comfortable with yr schedule is the answer for me, I have NO appetite for anything too :worried: Due to the supplements I take.. it jus kills it! Results are my discipline for staying on track... But maybe a little cheat, but nothing over the top :)
