How often do ya'll get new wallets?

I got one for Xmas... I then thought of when I got my last one. It was 12 years ago.

When did you get a new one?

LOL... that happened to me. I had gotten to the point that I just stuck in a slot where the credit cards go. I travel so much, that I am constantly taking it out in airports.

Maybe I should get a fanny pack instead.

OHHHH I AM HAVING A FLASHBACK!!!!
When I was a teenager I was all stoked out about getting a wallet. During that time my wallet consisted of couple of pic(me and my gf), pic of family, some coins in the change slot, and if I was lucky couple of dollars here and there. So to look all pimped out(having a fat wallet) I stuffed it with all sorts of junk, like foot action cards, Dillards used gift card, hell any card that resembled a credit card.

Now days I have so much stuff in it that it looks like its gona bust open any time soon, but its everything that I need, ahhh times have changed.

I did the same. I have gotten it down to the point that I carry my Drivers License, 2 credit cards for emergencies. My vitamin world card. Regal movie card, a laminated pic of my partner and Borders discount card (in case I need to buy something to read on planes)
 
I started carrying a wallet at 33 years of age. lol I`m on my 3rd one at 35 now.
 
i hate wallets and dont use them, they always get bulky and make you look like a soldier with your pockets loaded down with crap

i keep everything in a drawer and use my pockets or an off the shoulder bag, grabbing cards etc when i need them
 
i feel retarded for giving a gay man advice here... but IMO,
you should have
A. A wallet for each season (can be reused yr after yr)
or
B. A few wallets you alternate to match shoes/belt/etc...

I have 3 wallets that I rotate. One black murakami LV for fall/winter, a white murakami money card holder for summer, and a gstar wallet I mix up w. casual outfits...
 
I use em' till they fall apart....

Acutally, longer. The part in the middle always goes first....but I don't want to part with a wallet that's nice and broken in, so I start folding my bills in half, and tucking them into each side of the wallet...which is missing that middle fabric or leather part that links the inside-middle. I'll do this until girlfriend/friends/family harrass the hell out of me to get a new one...but I always miss the hell out of the old one until the new one gets broken in. New wallets suck!
 
The only reason I replaced my last one one was because my ex bought me a new one. She got me one more after that that I still haven't used....it's like 3 years old now. I got this one all good and broken in.
 
I hate my present billfold, it's too fat. Anyone got any brand name recommendations for a bi-fold billfold that's nice and thin?
 
lv makes a small ass bifold... in traditional brown monogrammed... kinda ridiculously priced though, I like toku's stuff as well, and u can't go wrong with an affordable coach wallet.
 
hey , i only take what i feel i'm entitled to, ok? all i take is what i feel belongs to me. if it dosn;t, then I don't ake it = it's not mine. see ya.
 
got one last year at Christmas after 8 yrs. mine was wadding up my paper money,plus the last time i got stopped for speeding i have never had to produce a license until then well i had to empty the whole contents of my wallet looking for it on the back trunk of the car ,i groaned to the officer (this was at night) " looks like i going to need a new wallet" even the insurance paper was stuck to the plastic binder ,removing it also removed the ink print,we had to re-insert it into the binder and line it up so the officer could read it.....nevertheless he felt sorry for me or something and let me go.LOL!!!

i don't believe i have ever bought one.......always get 'em for christmas or birthday presents.

LV is becoming so over done nowawday fuckers all got em these days
 
every 2ish years, usually as gifts....wallets can get tatty quick

necessity with me due to the amount of cards i hav to carry (access cards, swipe cards etc)...

I just get one every few years when the old one is stinking from ass sweat and falling apart from going through the washer a few times.
