How much water do you guys drink in a day?

No matter if i'm on or off, i always drink 8 liters of water a day!!! My only problem is that i have to take a piss every 30 minutes!!

Don't understand why so many drink that much water...I'd rather fill up on milk, gatorade, juices, etc... Those are wiser choices for bulking because of the added cals, nutrients..

That was the reason for my sarcastic remark. Most of the people on this thread that claim to drink a gallon or more a day don't even get close, and probably have no idea just how difficult it can be to drink that much. I'll tell you one thing I'm getting in 6000 calories a day for my current bulking cycle, and it takes my total planing and it takes me constantly thinking about what I need to eat and when I need to eat it, because 6000 calories is a fucking lot of calories. If I drank a gallon of water a day there would be no freakin room in my stomach for even half of those calories. Some of you may drink that much, but you can't say it so nonchalantly like its no big deal. Its not an easy task. There is no way in hell that most normal people with thier busy everyday lifestyles would have enough time to drink that much and still have time to go to the bathroom, much less get everything else done. Some of you guys got way too much time on your hands. By the way how do you guys know that your drinking a gallon? Do you walk around with a milkjugg full of water?

Why so angry Watson? It's water we're talking about, not religion.

BTW, I'm getting 6000 calories a day too. Here's how I do it:

1 gallon milk
2 boxes hamburger helper
2 pounds ground beef

Sometimes I add to that, but I always eat at least that.

And I agree, it's not easy eating that much. It's work, but the gains are well worth it. :)

seriously, a gallon is not a lot once youre used to it...if all i have is a gallon now i get thirsty...i like to have at least one and a half a day, on any training day i make sure to drink 2

I have to agrue with "IReek" . It's really not that hard once you do it for awhile. Take a gallon of water with you one day and just sip on it at all times. At all 6 meals drink at least 2 glasses. Before you relize it's almost gone. Of course, you'll feel like your pissing more then drinking until you get used to it.

Used to def. not drink enough (although in the summer I would say I was over a gallon) but now I am starting to get everything back in order so I am thinking around a gallon on non training days, probably a little more when I train. For me the only issue is how much I go to the bathroom, guess I have a weak bladder(and take too many fat loss supps).

A gallon isn't really all that much. I have a 320z. Nalagene water bottle. That's only 4 fill ups a day. Plenty of time to drink water in the car driving, car, class, pre and post workout.

I always have a gallon of water in a milk jug in the refridgerator and each morning i take it out and drink it during the day, it's always gone at the end of the day, and thats not including water used for protein shakes and whatnot, water is the only fluids I get :) When I am training for a contest, I go up to 2 gallons a day so when i water deplete, it flushes it all out :) But you all are right, a gallon is really easy after you have done it for a while, and yes, i have to use the bathroom at walmart or the post office or sometimes behind the carwash, daily :)

I cary a gallon jug with me every day and kill it plus a few more glasses when I get home.

I'm not angry, I just believe that a lot of people don't drink as much as they think. That also holds true for calories, I thought I was getting a shitload untill I started documenting my meals and I realized I wasn't getting nearly enough.

I eat:
2 tottinos pizzas
3 shakes
4 double cheeseburgers
and whatever else goes in during the day just adds to it.

The pizzas are 800 calories, with 70 grams of carbs
Each shake is close to 800 calories(with 6 eggs blended in)
The cheeseburgers are close to 600 calories each.

I average about 2 gallons on days I train easily and about 1.5 gallons on days I don't train. When boxing it is easy to suck down half a gallon after practice and throughout the day just have a cup every hour, makes it real easy on the stomach

I easily drink 10 / 12oz bottles per day and most of the time I wish I had more with me.

I drink some coffee in morning and then it's all water from that point, when I wake up the first thing that I do is kill a bottle of water, maybe two. Sometimes I go through one during the night if I wake up.
