How much test? first cycle

Hey everyone,

Ill cut to the chase straight up,
so ive been training for two years solid, Im 24, weight 205lbs ,5,11,8% body fat
My question is who thinks 250mg of test ent a week is enough? i have had so many people tell me "nah 500-750 a week 250s pointless yada yada" but i have heard(never met) about alot of people who have had good results at 250mg? I know i probs havent hit my natural limits yet but im ready to take it to the next level and my mind set is like well worst case scenario i take 250 a week for ten weeks and i dont gain much then i will know atleat how my body responds to test and can increase next cycle.
Any advice or comments appreciated,thanks
 
250mgs is what you should stick with, take it with something else, like eq. your first cycle will be one of the most dramatic cycles you will ever do, if your diet, training, etc is in place. your first cycle of 250mgs is like taking 500mgs later on. don't try to over do it. your body is clan right now and your receptors are clean and unsaturated, your body hasn't platued yet. later on, you will have to bump up the dosage in order to get the same effect. good luck.
 
why would you advise him to stack something with test on his first cycle? bad info, get out newb.
 
just my .02 for my very first cycle ever I took 200mg 1cc of test cyp and stacked it with 200mg 1cc of Deca. I was very happy with my results and continued to a second 10 week cycl with no pct in between. 20 weeks and Was happy...
 
Test is a good first cycle for someone completely new to the game, but if you have someone who lifts with you and will help you along the way then test and eq would be a perfect first cycle.
 
250mgs of testosterone enanthate for 10 to 12 weeks is a great first cycle bro.you will be surprised at how much you can grown and the strength you can get just off of that.stick to one compound your first cycle,you don't even know how you'll respond to gear in general........whether or not you're prone to gear induced gyno,hair loss or acne.if you do have any side effects you will know exactly what is causing it and can adjust accordingly.post cycle therapy will be a breeze also

if your stats are accurate, you are genetically gifted and a little juice will go a long way!

my first cycle was pharm test cyp. 200 mg wk 10 wk and 20 mg pharm winnie ed for the last 30 days. i proly put on 25lb's and kept 10. 250 week for 10 weeks is fine.
 
no offense to anyone here. but seriously what's with people talkin about receptor saturation and all this stuff.

the bottom line is, after your first cycle you have more mass which is harder to maintain and build upon, this is why your first cycle produces the most results, because you're closer to your body's natural limit. once you are above that mark, you need more and more steroids to hold on to/build mass. it has nothing to do with "virgin" receptors. no one's receptors are virgin (we all produce testosterone all day every day, even WOMEN do not have virgin androgen receptors) in fact even a premature newborn fetus does not have virgin receptors, testosterone is produced in levels equal to adult/adolescent production while in the womb for males which produce all of the male characteristics such as brain and genital development.

all you are doing is increasing the amount of androgens for a period of time increasing the anabolic response.

there is no such thing as receptor saturation, virgin receptors, or any things of that nature. your body has receptor sites which react to hormones or drugs, the affinity of the drug to bind with the site multiplied by the quantity of that substance in your body equals the degree of cell response. plain and simple.

of course your first cycle is going to be your best, for one simple reason, you are the smallest before your first cycle. if you did a cycle gained 20 pounds, then stopped training for a year, lost all the muscle you gained from your first cycle, you'd gain it back just as easily as the first go round.

now lets say you gained 20 pounds your first cycle, you are now 20 pounds heavier, 10 weeks later you do another cycle with twice as much gear and gain maybe 12-15 pounds, well no wonder, you are starting at a much higher point, law of diminishing returns.

anyways my point is there is no reason to just bum rush your first cycle with multiple compounds at high dosages because "you never grow like your first cycle". you <i>should</i> have to step it up every time if you want to continually improve because the further away you get from baseline the harder it is to maintain.

not tryin to flame. just trying to expand all of our knowledge and help create one of the most well informed forums on the net.
 
Haha yeah stats are right man, I wieghed in and cliped my self yesterday at work, Thanks for your input everyone its appreciated.
Yeah hyp thats what my main concern was about seein how the sides affected me so thought i would keep it low to start,but for the test related acne i am basically gonna tan every other day keep face clean and drink sht loads of water.
Is acne on cycle due mostly to the estrogen levels being elevated? if so would a anti e help with skin?

don't sweat acne bro. its acne~! on a low dose you will have increased acne but nothing ridiculous, and its usually concentrated on chest/back not pizzaface style. use dry soaps, take extra showers, tan. i've heard puting like half a cup of bleach in some bathwater is great for acne (or swimming in a chlorinated pool) it can be the estro causing it, it can also be the DHT from the test, but its no biggie man. plus man you might not even get any acne, some people don't. worry about that when it happens, and don't use drugs to combat a temporary minor skin issue. important sides are blood pressure, liver values, cholesterol values, hormonal shutdown, and gyno. none of which should be too much of an issue on a shorter cycle with low dosages of test.

there is an increase in oil production (sebum) at puberty.This has been linked to an increased level of androgen (male sex hormone).while you're on steroids your skin will produce more oil because of the elevated androgen levels but you can combat this easily by washing your face and body more often and tanning to help dry your skin out.personally I would keep the anti estrogens to a minimum if at all possible bro,excess use of them can dry your joints out and cause joint pain.......if you experience serious bloating or water retention then use them sparingly.
