How much resistance to maintain mass?

If you can gain size and strength with aroudn 60% of your 1rm, what zone would one need to train in to maintain their current muscle mass?
 
I'd just pick your 10RM, and do one low-volume fullbody workout per week. Eat at maintainance. You should maintain just fine.
 
OK, but what if the 10RM irritates the injury?

I'm looking at somewhere around 40-50% of my 10RM and sometimes even that will irritate the area.

Tempo?
 
I'd say try to find an exercise that doesn't bother it, then. What kind of injury?

Medium tempo I guess, maybe 1-0-2 or something. Just be consistent.
