damn mate, that's to much protein in my opinion. your body can only abosorb so much, even when using ginger root. I never go over 350g, even when on cycle. i weigh 260lbs.

cheers

Right now about 225...Cutting up.I will hit that 500 gram mark when I'm at the 250lb or over range(2 grams per lb of BW).Split up over about 7-8 meals per day.Probably taking in a little over 300grams per day right now.

Huck, with all that knowledge, you've got to know that most of that protein is being used up only as fuel, right? And that it would be cheaper and more efficient to get those cals from carbohydrate sources...and the excess protein may even be harmful as far as muscle performance, due to dehydration.

Do you really think all that protein is necessary? I'm not saying it's wrong, of course you know your body better than I...but I'm just curious as to what your theory is behind the HUGE Protein intake.

Too damn much. Around 450. Also trying to eat 6000 cals right now.

I hate food.

It's always lookin' at me.

Plotting against me.

I will eat it all. :) :) :) :) :)

One thing you have to be aware of is protein requires the highest energy expendature just to ASSIMILATE...It in itself leads to a hightening of BMR...For endomorphs like myself,it is the ONLY solution when ramping up overall nutrient intake.Carbs in an insulin coveting system like mine are DISASTROUS...Not trying to tell anyone to copy what I do,as my planning is designed around years of my own personal trial and error, just sharing what works for me personally.

Huck, can you give me more info. I'm an endomorph my self. Any carbs I eat are a real disaster..

How do you guys have so much protein? Is it all with shakes or food? What do you guys eat to get that much protein.
I only weigh $70kg, how much protein would you recamend for me on and off cycle.

I take in about 175-200 grams of protein on or off cycle. I have a really slow metabolism so pretty much any food I eat is stored right on the belly. 200 grams of protein and 100 grams of carbs a day is about all my body will take before it starts to get fat. What I wouldnt give for a faster metabolism :(

Total per day, I do not know. It depends on when I get up and when I get to bed. For me there are no exact numbers per day, It all depends how often you eat the protein, what kind of protein, awake hours and so on. (numbers are from meat/powder and not from carbs>/pasta/rice etc..I do not count them)
I shoot for 50g for breakfast, then 35g 3 hoiurs later, then 40g for lunch(before workout), 20g post workout(whey) and 30 minutes later 60g(from meat). 3 hours later 35-40g, then for dinner 35-50g, after that 30-40g and last meal of the day before bedtime is 50g kasein(about 45g protein). I think it is pointless to focus on an exact number to eat per day. It's pretty obvious that someone taking 1 gram every other hour then gp massive for one meal with something like 250g probably wont gain much, more likly the opposite(muscle loss).

You really shouldn't go over 1.5-2g per KILOGRAM of body weight. Anything over that is used as fuel, and produces excess nitrogen which the body must eliminate via the urine, causing water loss--->dehydration--->poor muscle performance.
