how much gain in a month?

Hi.
I just wanted to know how much one can gain in a month without taking roids but taking protein, carbs and creatine. is it possible to gain 4lbs --- every --- month if i am very very motivated and go regularly to gym?
i wanna know that because my goal is about 190lbs, and i wanna achieve this in about a year...i weigh a bit more than 150lbs now,

150lbs, average height (don't know it in feet), going to gym for a bit longer than half a year, gained about 25lbs in this time, but weight gain is slowing down...
so i'll do it more intensively in the next time...

Gaining 40 pounds of MUSCLE in a year going naturally is almost impossible i think. 25 pounds is a very significant weight gain, but i would not expect it to continue at that rate no matter how hard you work... it slows down for everyone. I doubt you can gain 4 pounds a month but if you keep calories high like 3000-4000 and take 1.5gms protein per pound of bodyweight you will be doing all you can.
--best of luck to you.

when I first started working out I managed to gain about 35lbs in 3 months. Not all of this was muscle mind you. However, after those three months, my gains slowed down dramatically. I gained maybe 3 lbs a month.

yes gaining 4 pound a month of muscle for a consistant period is impossible...if that were to happen you would be mr O in two years.

depends on your body type (endo/ecto)

i have little prob putting on weight, even after a couple cycles i can still blow myself up natty-i do get fat though

if youve found your OPTIMUM training schedule(youre getting enough rest), and youre eating 3k-4k calories i think you could come close to 4lbs of muscle a month, atleast for a little while

last year i gained 25lbs in two monthes natty

10lbs fat , 10lbs muscle , 5 lbs water about 6k cal day

(then i lost all but 3lbs of muscle by trying to cut natty- LESSON LEARNED!)

Yeah for me I blew up natty from 160 up to 190 then again to 200 pounds both over the course of about a year. A lot of it was fat/water though and my body didn't want to hold onto muscle when I cut down. Juice was the only thing that blew me up so much and kept me lean. I found it surprisingly easy to maintain a majority of my gains too. Not trying to convince you.

I suggest you eat well and often, workout intensly and add creatine in it might get you a few pounds. Good luck!

I'll second that. It's one thing to bulk natty... fine .... but to cut natty ... thats a horse of a different color:rainbow:
