how much does teeth whitening cost?

lets see some pics of those pearly yellows

most of the over the counter shit sucks, but some people say it works "ok"

have your dentist cook up some laser whitening. Will run you $500 or so.
 
I use the Crest Whitestrips & they work very well.......$20 for a kit...

otc didn't work for me. $500 is probably worth it for a white smile, if it lasts for a couple years.

it can last as long as you want bro. give up coffee and dark sodas, or if you must, drink them with a straw.

I tried them twice and nothing! I think it depends on how your teeth are.
I have transparent teeth so they did not work. If you have dense teeth it may work better!

I heard Zoom worked well and Britesmile....Up in Canada it's between $550- and $650
 
I called my dentist about 2 months ago to price it and just about fell out of my chair when I heard the price. Crest White Strips it is! They work pretty damn good for me but they make my teeth sensitive.

mine was done due to some teeth that i knocked out through mma and greco roman wrestling that i pushed back into the gums and healed. unfortuantely the roots died. so i bleached my teeth then had them match the color for the other teeth that died

jeez, my dentist couldn't get me in until the 19th to do the zoom whitening. takes 2 hours.

you can either do the in office for $500, the take home for $400, or both for $600. not sure what I need to do.

Get a cheap over the counter kit to make the teeth trays/mold.

Go to a dentist/order online the refill whitening gel. Opalesence (sp) worked for me :) I think a syringe of it is @ 12.00

... i made a thread on ghetto teeth whitien ballin a budget and its the cheapest most effective safest way...


we sell special teeth whiting kits at my salon so when u tan the UV rays reacts with the tray you have in your mouth so u get tan and white teeth the same way

go get 2 football mouth gaurds...boil them to get the teeth mold...ups and bottoms

use basic syrigne teeth whiting gel... put gel in top tray one nite..then bottom the nexct...switch off everyday for 14 days and u will be ballin lil mofo

FOR 25 DOLLARS u go hella white in 2 weeks with my ghetto fab way..


or go to a tanning salon and get the teeth white kits like we have and tan and white the same time
 
whiteting strips hurt my gums

I'm using the mouthguard with rembrant whitening gel method right now. Just started last week and my teeth are already a ligther shade of yellow.

$600 for the treatment that uses a light.
It includes the applications and 4, 20 minute sessions at same seating.
Also a touch-up kit to be used once every 3-6 months
with trays and a gel.

Cosmetic dentist gave me best price. He had the volume
and equipment to be most competitive.

I have two insurance coverages and they did not cover
this elective treatment.

Worth every penny!

yes, you put them in boiling water, take them out and like three seconds later put them over your teeth, suck in and help mold with your fingers. Custom mouth guard over the shape of your teeth, won't burn.
 
ebay: you can get molds made from impressions that you do yourself. its not that hard, then you get trays express mailed to you. 4 syringes of peroxide gel stuff, which lasts forever...if you want to be ghetto, you can go tan I guess. never tried it but it makes sense.
 
my dentist offers both the trays and the lazer and he actually suggested I use the trays. Why? Because not only is it half as much for me, but I take 2 tubes of the gel home with me and just use it when I need to "refresh" my teeth. He tells me that I can get a lot more life out of the trays, can do it at home and it is less expensive. Also, when I run out of the gel, I can by more tubes for $60 but that should be a few years down the road. The trays seem like the more cost effective way to go, but thats just my humble opinion.
 
Even though I'm extremely cost concious, it seems kind of scary to take a chance on a "ghetto" version of something like this with something as important as your teeth? lol. THe dental assistant on the phone did tell me you can get the same results eventually with trays over 6 weeks or so, and the laser is a "head start". Thanks for all the help guys, didn't know this was such a popular procedure.

its called ghetto fab since it is so cheap and it works. you think me me me for fucks sake going to risk my teeth? some kits u buy OTC have trays but they all suck, so the football trays mold better, then the whiting gel is just OTC rembrant stuff..... the ghetto way works awsome

or go tanning and as for white/Uv kits... hit me up when you are in AZ

Oh I was suckered into buying this one......again, did not work. I don' thave very yellow teeth but again they are transparent. This system did NOTHING for my teeth!
