I would say less then $300 for sure. Your console is the base model of the series and your Xbox Live subscription is that registered? I am unsure if you can transfer. You are also only giving one controller and no wifi adapter. I would guestimate the bids going around $200 or so.

xbox's are rated by version. Early versions are notorious for rings of death. Tons of hardware problems. I finally had to get rid of one after an E73 error.

Newer ones have far better hardware components and more stable.

Then again, most xbox buyers are clueless about this - but if it's a later generation, advertise that and raise the price. Unless you have legit warranty left.

No single red light, graphics card went, not covered under warranty. Went from HD to fuzzy grid or vertical and horizontal lines everywhere with shitty picture behind it.

Ah okay I know they extended the warranty to 3-years if your Xbox ended up with the 3 red rings.

Basically I got screwed over by M$ when I called about my disc drive. They wouldn't warranty it even after I proved to them it burned rings around brand new game discs. So, I just took it in my own hands to learn how to fix/replace it. It's very simple and just a mini computer with two processors. Very good write ups can be found online. Sorry to stray away from the OP.

You could try craigslist. ebay is probably flooded with them. Also, there's a good chance the potential buyer will ask what drive is in the system (there are a few and only one is considered "good", the BenQ drive).

Also check the lot number on the back of the console. 734 or higher/mfg. date of 8/24/07 and later means it's the "Falcon" system, which was slightly redesigned to help correct the "red ring of death" bs that wrecked so many of these consoles. This design also has a 175 Watt power brick instead of (I think) 203.

If you have the newer design you should be able to get $300 if you make a nice pretty picture of it for the listing. Be sure to stress how great GTA IV is and that it'll get downloadable content in the fall, someone's sure to eat it up.

If you meant a 360 it's either a 20 gig or 120 gig (Elite).
