how much does an ez curl bar weigh?

Olympic EZ Curl Bars are 25.

Those are the only kind I've ever used. Maybe the ones fitted for York Plates are 15, I dunno.

who cares...as long as you are adding weight to the bar and you know you are progressing does it really matter?

I'm going into the gym later, I'll compare the ez curl bar to a twenty five pounder and see how they feel. If they weigh twenty five, then how much do the short straight olympic bars weigh?

Yeah, they kinda vary. The ones I've seen to purchase online (olympic weights) range from 18-25lbs ......most are about 20.
I actually went and weighed the one at my gym on a scale just for grins. 19lbs it was.

The one in the picture looks like the one i'm using. I guess i'll just have to weight it one of these nights when no one's there cept me. Thanks for the input

doesnt really matter. I just used the ez curl for the first time the other night and was curious.

Mine weighs 11 lbs with the collars on, but admittedly it is a cheap peice of shit. I would like to buy a good one, but as long as this cheap bar works it's hard to justify buying anything else. :)

you make a good point on progressing in weight is what truly matters however, obviously some people care or they wouldn't ask the question on the board...im sick of people always saying who cares...

I weighed my ez bar at the gym just to see what it was. 16 lbs.

If you are curious, throw the one you got on a scale. Then you will know for sure.

Exactly what I've done. Have also weighed myself first and THEN while holding a EZ bar.
