how much does alcohol really affect a cycle!!!

It slows down protein synthesis for almost two days depending on how heavily you drink. Studies show that you shouldn't drink immediately after you workout because it will have major negative effects.

An occasional drink or two every weekend shouldn't hurt. But IMPO, I stay away from alcohol altogether when doing a cycle. There's enough stress already being put onto your liver, why add more?
 
trust me bro i was going through a bad break up, tried to stay on the right path , going to gym but then drinking at night... its effects are rough..... in moderation as said above not so bad, but still counter productive but we gotta live sometimes... so drink lots of water take an extra multi vit. just trust me dont make it a habit i got a lot of work to do to get back to where i was..
 
true dat! I've been fighting with the wife and put an inch around my waste from drinking! I never notice any strength losses during cycle if I drink, but I just notice the water bloat that comes with alky..
plus feeling worn out the next day which affects your workout.
 
Hows hard liquor opposed to beer? Since today is 4th of july i had some beers....but would have hard liquor been the wiser choice??
 
Isn't inject test not too hard on the liver..? more of the tren and dbols? Cause i drink like a fish sometimes when on..
 
ive got wasted and done drugs while on and it really didnt do that much just make sure to still go to the gym the next day
 
I had a few drinks a couple weeks ago (first time in a long while) and im trying to get back into my gym groove-- i have been slacking since then--- was going everyday-- now going every other day or third day.. WTF!!! I figured its the 4th of july so can have a few tonight ... but in the back of my mind -i know ive already been slacking since i first had that drink!!- i know i have to push myself harder and just do it! I have to say just reading this forum gets my adrenaline pumping to go to the gym :evil:
 
I have to admit that I drink like 2 times per week even if on a cycle..... Usually weekends, and I don't drink to the extreeme either.... I don't find that it affects the gains too much, but I know it does.... Best bet is to avoid it as much as possible, and not to drink too much when you do actually drink.....

I know many of you like myself enjoy a few drinks here and there but anything over 2 drinks in a day is going to be problematic in any circumstance juicing or not. Simply, if you're going to drink you're going to drink. The extent of how negatively it will affect a cycle is up for debate, but obviously a binge drinker or alcoholic is going to suffer more than the occasional social drinker. Personally, I have my moments where I have one too many and I'm sure my cycle suffers, otherwise I feel that up to 2 glasses of red wine and its many benefits with dinner actually helps while on a cycle.
