how much do you tip your hairdresser

I go to a Mexican barbershop to get my head shaved... just down to a #1 though. (When I bic it, it gets all gross.) They do a super thorough job... big clippers, smaller clippers, then a razor to trim it up along the neck and sideburns. ...$11 haircut, and I tip $3.

I haven't paid for a haircut in 5 years; don't have enough to justify paying anyone for. My gf spends $160 on a cut and highlight.

I usually just keep mine short with a razor,but when I get lazy and have to get it shaved I dont tip,the bitch damn near rips my scalp off trying to get it bald, I only go back because she is the only person who wont charge 15-18 to shave a head

heh I doubt you would have a normal hair stylist here if you didn't tip. My fiance does it and she would just refuse to have you put on her books if she knew you weren't gonna tip. Sure she's getting 50% commission on sales but she still makes most of her money from tips. Just remember next time you go in that most hair stylist do not get a hourly wage. My fiance works off of pure commission and tips
