How Much Do U Tip For Tattoo's?

Around 15% is pretty good so $45 in your case. I probably tip a bit heavier but my artist is like family so I get a discount which I make up for with extra tipping.

I'm looking to get more done in a couple of weeks. :)

Cheers,
Scotsman

Tipping for something that costs 100$ an hour doesn't make any sense to me, what the fuck is wrong with you people, do you tip your mechanic??

do you people just tip everybody? I'm a very generous tipper but I only really tip like the service community.. waitresses and servers.. bar tenders.. etc..

a mechanic is fixing your car.

tattoo artists are permanently marking your skin - you should form a good relationship with him/her

i tipped $40 on my tat and it ran me $300 to begin with

that's a valid point, but If you go to the best of the best as far as tattoo artists go they are already usually charging an arm and a leg because of thier quality, so I don't understand the point of tipping them extra? I mean if it's a common thing then I can understand it, but if it isn't why make it one?
