Aright heres my routine...Ive been doing the running every morning when I wake up. Weight training at roughly 5 p.m.

Monday- Chest/Triceps 8 exercises w/3-4 sets each for chest...4 exercises with 4 sets Triceps.
Tuesday- Shoulders/Calves roughly same numbers respectively as chest/tris
Wednesday-Back/Biceps 6 excercises for back with 4 sets each, 4 exercises with 4 sets for triceps.
Thursday-Legs 6 exercises at 4 sets each.
Friday- Arms (Bicep/tricep/forarms) 3 exercises 3 sets each
Saturday- Cardio only.

Abs are every training day alternating upper and lower part of the muscle. I have adopted this routine after many years of tweaking and it works very good for me.

Diet:
Protein Shake after running

10 am. 4 egg whites one with yolk, 1/2 cup oatmeal

12.pm 2-3 pieces chicken breast, 2 tblspoon ANPB

2-3pm. 2 of those sealed tuna pouches one serving each, 1/2 cup oatmeal w/flax oil.

430ish-1 cup oatmeal

5- Weight train- Whey w/ dextrose pwo

6:30- dinner usually fresh fish, chicken, or lean beef with Veggies

9ish- Caisen Protein, then bed at 10-11.

I am a true endomorph so it takes a really strict diet to keep me lean. Hope this helps you to help me thanks!

To be honest your diet isn't that great. Too many shakes. Try cutting it down to one shake at night and replace those other two times you have shakes with high quality foods. I guarantee your results will be much better.

Not sure just yet either heavy or light heavy, you? Doin the Caveman to, hell its only 5 days before might as well.
I will be a heavy, I am 6'1. I'm doing the Arkansas July 16th and the Missouri August 6th, I think that's gonna kick my ass doing two shows. We'll see what happens. I have never been to the caveman. I hear it's a pretty decent show. I'll hit you with a pm later.

So your suggesting I cut out my PWO shake? I don't think so. By the way I don't feel three shakes is excessive. Perhaps you can enlighten me with your diet I would appreciate that.

Then if you have to have one shake have it PWO. I think you should stick to the highest quality least processed foods. Protein shakes are of low quality and mostly processed and refined. If you want to see my diet check out the diet forums. Also I think you should eat something right when you wake up. You say you go to bed around 10 and don't eat until 10:00 am. Well that's 12 hours with your body going without any nutruients. I think your having trouble leaning up because your body goes without any food for so long that when it's 9:30 am your blood sugar is so low it is increasing fat storage and decreasing muscle. Then you eat and your blood sugar goes above normal which is not a good thing either. You want to be as consistent as possible with your caloric intake. If you at earlier in the morning when you wake up I think you'll see your blood sugar stablize more and you'll see better results that not eating for 12 hours.

1 shake is excessive...or even 3? NOT TRUE.....WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE has about 95-97% absorption rate......that is far more than any natural food with the exception of Eggs Whites....Tuna does not have as high nor steak.....

I do not like to drink a lot of shakes and am curently on a 0 shake per day shcedule..due to money.....( i take 2 cans of tuna mixed with water after workout) its disgusting....However when i add about 3 shakes per day when i have money....thats 180g more protein / day.....my results will explode!

3 is definatelly not excessive......
When i was cutting i was on ONLY PROTEIN SHAKES and low gi carbs.
Also bulked on Purely Pro-Complex, Salads, and Low Gi Carbs.......

When you realy look at it.....shakes are purer and absorb better than anything except eggs. Sure if you buy shity protein like 100% whey from optimum nutrition...you get screwed with 50% absorption or so.

I know there is a web site where you can check absorption rates, label claims etc. If they realy test as claimed.

Thats what I figured. I since have added a little more low GI carbs and more protein in the a.m but other than that its working great. I'm not gonna change anything else. Since when are shakes the lowest quality protein anyway. I know whole foods are better but shakes have their place, and I won't cut them. Thanks for the support.

I prefer food over shakes, the only exception is PWO. If a shake is all you can get though, by all means shake it up (horrible pun).

Here we go again with the genetic B.S. I dont know what you guys refer to as genetics. But I think you may be confusing anatomical stuff (how a persons muscles and skeletal frame line up, etc.) with a persons ability to build, hold, carry, and burn muscle/fat. You cant change structual/anatomical genetics, but to use genetics as an excuse as to why a pro can burn more bodyfat than somebody else is complete bull shit. They take a lot of drugs, and that takes out much of the genetic factor in things. That's the whole reason for using the drugs, otherwise you wouldnt need them. A guy can bust his ass for 10-12yrs and finally make it to be a pro and everyone wants to use the bullshit excuse that he got there and they didnt because he had freak genetics. The truth is they put forth the time and dedication to get there and you didnt.

Again, before someone tries to give an example as to why genetics are the ultimate reason for everything.... let me state again, I realize that someone can put 20yrs of hard work and do everything right and still never make it to be a pro, despite having a huge amount of muscle mass. But that's probably because of anatomical genetic factors. If your chest doesnt line up right with your shoulders, or your leg muscles are fucked up in their structual shape there's nothing you can do about it. And because of it you'll probably never be a pro bodybuilder.
Genetics don't just apply to insertions and origins of muscle. You think genetics don't play a role in how much muscle you can hold? You are absolutely clueless. No, drugs don't take out the genetic factor at all, they proliferate it. The pro bb'ers you see onstage have comparable genetics in terms of rarity to that of an olympic sprinter. I feel like I'm wasting my time rebutting your ridiculous statements. You're so far off the truth that you don't have a chance.
