Yeah bro that sounds good I guess I end up doing around.. 150 minutes of cardio a week or something along those lines..

:D:D

I don't do any cardio, and I rarely ever have. Can't stand it.I do 40 yard sprints twice per week, but it is more for leg conditioning rather than cardio.

What is your bf% like ballast? I mean for me my bf% is probably around 18-20% right now!! And I am doing 30 minutes every time I train.. my diet needs work though!!

:D:D

Monstar-Last week my bodyfat was 9%.It's not because I eat like a supermodel,it's because my metabolism is about as fast as a championship racehorse with a hot poker up his ass.I've noticed it has slowed the past three years, and it is easier to put on weight now.I'm following Dr. Hatfield's zig-zag diet, and it does seem to help keep me lean.If I started to do cardio, I'd probably shrivel up.

I've been mixing it up lately. I do about 40 minutes of running in the am, 3 days per week. Then I'll add two 20-minute HIIT days to that as well.

No cardio for 4 months. Bodyfat still at 6.5%, gaining weight steadily with minimal fat.

I really should do some for my heart, but as far as staying ripped, cardio really doesn't make any difference.

Let me guess. You also never diet either right?

I do about 15-20min post workout and once a week in the AM before breakfast whether i'm bulking or not. Help keep fat levels down when bulking, and at 15min i can still make it home in less than 1 hour to have my shake.

i do 45-60mins after weights and 60mins on non-weight training days. both are done first thing in the morning on empty stomach. Is this too much for after training? i walk at about 70-80% MHR.

I've been lean bulking since april, I'm trying to monitor my weight gain enough that i WON'T have to diet. :) I'm sure i will, eventually, but I'm not a big believer in "bulking" as some people are... (getting fat, then spending months trying to get lean again.)

And I still hold by my assertion that 90% of bodyfat control is diet. Screw cardio. ;) (for fat loss, at least)

I agree that most bf% control is diet. I haven't done cardio in a long time. That is not saying that I shouldn't and have been thinking about hitting it in the morning again. I find myself out of breath easier now and I am not comfortable with that. Also I think staying with cardio work helps in the sack also.

i cant do any cardio at the moment - not because i have a broken leg or because im sick, but because im an ectomorph...i could lose 5 lbs in 2 weeks just by skipping 1 meal a day...i could imagine how much weight i would lose doing cardio.

90+

I am an aerobic instructor and teach 2 classes every morning, usually followed by a choreography session.

I then do my weight training which last 1 to 2 hours.

I also have a hyper yellow lab puppy--So there are many nights I take him for a run to calm him down and make him bearable. Puppys behave so much better when they are tired!! :D

i now do only intense sprints for 10 min after lifting (4-5 x weekly)- it's great for your legs, doesn't interfere w/strength & muscle building and is good for your heart. to control bodyfat i rely on my diet.

I average about 20hrs a week! Of course only my lungs are huge-the rest of me is skinny. I have to build monstrous endurance to be able to compete in bike races and triathlons. The national championship cycling race is usually 100+ miles and most races on the circuit are 50-100 miles so endurance is key. One day last year I did a 7.5 hour ride-it was overkill; I slept for 12hrs and my ass hurt for a week. I lost 7 pounds that day though (mostly water). Riding is my favorite form of exercise and is passion-been racing for a long time.

none when im bulking. except for 10 minutes warm up on the statonary before training. and i usually walk for an hour every third day, when its my day off from the gym. but thats mainly because i enjoy walking.

Dont do any in the gym, but do sport for at least an hour each day.

I do sports science in college so i either am playing some form of sport or coaching it nearly every day.
We also do fitness tests alot, and they are mainly aerobic.

Also, i have a team training session for rugby which is very demanding. A game also, so i do quite a bit of cal burning!

cant be to good for the mass...i try to keep the cals up, but it is hard.

Damn..

I never guessed around 21% of Elite members dont do cardio because of laziness!! Dedication is KEY in bodybuilding..
