How much better is the CKD?

I've been following a high protein, moderate fat, low carb diet for a while now and it has worked thus far. I started out at 215 and am now down to 206 with little loss of muscle and no loss of strength. I lift 5 days a week with 25 minutes of cardio each day as well. Limiting myself to 2000 calories a day is getting tough though and I am looking for something to speed up the fat loss. Unfortunately I have had adverse reactions to stimulants in the past so even coffee is out of the question. Does the CKD provide much faster weight loss. I still love the carbs so I am not sure I wanna take the plunge unless it's really worth it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you're looking for a change of pace, give it a try. Give it a go for a few weeks and see what happens. A lot of people seem to be having a lot of success with it. What I like about it, is that it doesn't completely eliminate carbs so you can still enjoy them on the weekend carb-up. Gives you a little motivation and something to look forward to.

I think consistency is the key here, not just CKD. My experience with CKD was good, but im more of a variety kind of guy. CKD is good because it is so strict it really limits you from fucking yourself over with food choices. However I find chicken breast, veggies, and whole grains work best for me. Its really a matter of personal preference (just as long as you stick to the plan :) )
