how many weeks does it take you to get shredded

So I am in the dinning hall today, eating my reg. 2500 cals a sitting with all my friends stareing at me. On their plates are salads, water and eggs....On my plate is mounds of protien and carbs finished of by a huge icecream sunday and an apple and peanut butter.

My friend looks at me and says, you know summer is a month away...:D I say yea...now keep in mind im still no more then 8%-9% bf but im bulking while their trying hard to cut.

Lets also say I am bulking with fina so I have an edge already, but I have to laugh because it will take me no more than two weeks to get back down to 6% BF with nice cut abs.

How about you guys, do we just have greater knowledge....
keep in mind I know much of cutting quikly has to do with genetics and metobolism
 
It depends on your beginning bf.
Look to lose 1% bf per week.
 
If I diet STRICTLY for a month, and train normally (maybe less), I can get to a point where I'm in tip-top beach condition.

Conversley, I gain fat as quickly as I lose it, even though I try to do things slowly and in a controlled manner. My body tends to shift fat in either direction very quickly. This isn't a good thing when bulking, but I know the fat does come off eventually, so I take consolation in that.

I don't kniow of many 29 0 ound walking eclipses with abs.
 
haha..thanks man. I don't know how long it would take for me to get lean...I haven't been super lean in about 5 years. Not knowing the proper way to get lean...I might really lose a lot of muscle in the process. I guess that dieting is all trial and error maybe. Maybe we should have a thread on how to properly diet. That is one thing I don't know much about actually...

In all honesty, seriously, I like you as a person. You are the kind of guy I would love to call up, chat with, and hang out with a lot. I have just come to an agreement within myself that we can both agree to disagree. I honestly feel that if we could spend about a week together trading ideas...we could probably see eye to eye on nearly everything. Those thoughts, feelings, and ideas are hard to share over the computer.

I am not the most understanding person in the world when it comes to training either. I see so much of the world in black and white with few shades of gray (just ask Night Fly).

I don't mind a point counter point thread...but I do NOT want anything to interfere with my friendliness with you. I actually fear that it might and I don't want that.

Sorry to clatter up this thread with personal issues.

HI if your 8-9 % bf and you dont have nice cut abs yet something is wrong right?

Im like 20% and i can see like 4 already.
8% should be a full shining 8 pack or do you simply want like the vascular, ripped look?
